Seriously, IF that article proves true, and if there's going to be a new KI on the way, I'd like to hold on to the hope that they made a complete 180 from that sort of design/plotline.

I mean, if these are the original ideas they had - if this is one of the directions they wanted to take the series in - then it's pretty obvious they just DON'T GET IT.

We're talking about a series with flying noses, wizards that turn you into eggplants, and guys named Pythagoras who throw equilateral triangles at you (no, really! it's awesome).

And Medusa, who has curly blonde hair and a pink dress (which is also awesome).

It's... really just not meant to be a GRIMNDARK series, and shouldn't be treated as such. :|

Things that should not be as amusing as they are:

Going into Azurill's nightmare - after a bunch of NPCs go "oh, man, that's going to be scary!" - and going up against..! Clefairy, Jigglypuff, and Blissey.

... exactly where does the 'nightmare' fit in?

(also, the scenes with Manaphy were adorable. The partner is totally the mom ;_;)

Hahah, it's stupid to be so excited about this. But clear Kids seem to be pretty rare, IIRC, so this was kind of a lucky get. Especially since I normally have moderate to poor luck with 'random' things such as this, and honestly never thought I'd have a clear unless I actually up and bought it off y!JP or something. :>

This is... a surprisingly auspicious start to my hubcap-face collection. (I don't know how it happened, but I FELL IN LOVE with this little guy all of a sudden. His waffle-faced evolution is okay, too, but d'awwr Shieldon I love your little "):‹" face)

Every now and then, I try to narrow down the focus of my Pokemon-goods collecting, but it never really works. :|

Hm! Oh well, it's still a relatively cheap hobby, regardless.

Hello, I am the tiniest game package in the world.

(it came inside the bigger box, yes, but I just loved the novelty of a TINY FAMICOM BOX. I mean it's just so *cute*! :C)

... I figured if I was going to pay money for a version of this game that doesn't allow certain passwords to be used (you know, "Icarus Fights ~" and probably "Danger ! ~"), it might as well be a portable version instead of the VC one.

And, actually, it's much better: the Disk System version (the one used for this port) used save files instead of the original's password system.

SAVE FILES.

Hurrah for convenience!

(funfact: the option to delete savefile data is referred to as "KILL MODE". Just like that - roman letters, allcaps. I laughed when I saw it, and I'm not entirely sure why; it sounds so VIOLENT when you call it that!)
